RawPaw du mois

Voici Klaus – RawPaw du mois de mai

Klaus is a crazy 11 year old Yellow Labrador. He is an international jet setter, having lived in Germany, China, Thailand and now Canada. He is a goofy boy full of energy and is always ready to play – most days it’s hard to believe he’s 11. In January of 2011 he was diagnosed with pancreatitis. For the next several months we tried all the low fat foods from the vet and the pet store, nothing seemed to alleviate the pain and digestive problems. The only thing that seemed to help were steroids and anti-inflammatories. In an effort to avoid potentially harmful medications I started looking for holistic solutions. I found an ad for RawPaw in our local newspaper and gave Farah a call. I can’t say enough about the changes in Klaus. He is back to eating like a Lab and his pancreatic attacks have been virtually eliminated. In addition to an improvement in his health, we’ve noticed his teeth are clean and his shedding is almost nonexistent. Klaus loves his raw food and each meal time is a treat for him. I’m sure that there isn’t another dog that wiggles harder than Klaus (a.k.a. Wiggle Butt) when he sees Farah and that beloved blue cooler filled with raw food.Carrie

Voici Miles & Willow – RawPaws du mois d’avril

Our GSDs, Miles & Willow, have been eating raw for years. Being large dogs, it was a struggle to afford & we were always concerned with the lack of variety… When Miles began to lose interest in his food we decided to look in to RawPaw. The variety was incredible, and we were shocked at the low prices. I spoke to Farah and was so relieved to finally have a raw feeding expert to address my concerns and answer my questions… and I had a lot of questions! The dogs LOVE their food. Their “neck night” is a particular favorite. Watching them eat real food is so primal and so satisfying. As a groomer I see the consequences of a poor diet – rotten teeth, obesity, poor coat, ear infections etc., etc… I am optimistic that raw feeding will slowly become mainstream as long as there are passionate advocates like Farah offering a smart, affordable alternative to kibble. Thanks Farah!

Voici Scruffy – RawPaw du mois de mars

I saw Scruffy frantically running around a parking lot an an IGA in île Perrot in October of 2010. It was dark and rainy outside and no one seemed to care that she was scared and alone. I did not even think twice about it, I scooped her up and put her in the car. When we arrived home she was nervous and confused and she did not smell very good. She had no muscle tone; when you picked her up it was like picking up a wet rag. Her ears were so badly infected I could only imagine the discomfort she was in. We also noticed there was something wrong with her vision or should I say lack there of. The vet told me she was somewhere between 5 and 6 years old. She had advanced cataracts and has since had to have both her eyes removed. She was in pretty bad shape for a dog of this age.I was told about RawPaw from a fellow raw feeder and I was very excited to find someone who carries some of my favourites that I have not been able to find locally for the past few years. Scruffy loves the tripe and really enjoys the capon necks. She no longer smells and her coat is much softer – it was very coarse. She no longer has a black stain around her mouth and chin. She has great muscle tone now and an abundance of energy.

I am very happy I found Farah and so is my crew. I am feeding 4 dogs and 5 cats all on a raw diet and they are healthy beautiful animals.

Voici Scooby and Banjo – RawPaws du mois de février

As dog lovers and owners, we at Montreal Dog Walkingbelieve that there are many factors that affect the health of our dogs. As dog walkers we champion exercise as a major factor in the health of one’s dog, but we also believe that what you feed your dog is just as important. Our dogs, Scooby and Banjo, both have had skin problems due to food allergies. In switching them to a raw diet we have both seen significant improvement in our dogs’ health. Between the two of them, our boys suffered chronic itchiness, raw, bleeding skin, and patchy, thin coats. Now, the scratching is all but gone and our dogs actually get complimented on the shiny appearance and velvety texture of their coats! Scooby also had chronic stomach problems, but that’s now a thing from the past thanks to a raw diet!

RawPaw offers great products and advice and Farah is very good at accommodating each dog’s needs. Scooby is a very picky eater and every time Farah comes over she tries to bring new products in order to find something he will like. Banjo, on the other hand, inhales his bones within a few seconds, so Farah tries to bring products that can resist Banjo’s super jaw. Not only does Farah have our boys’ best interest at heart but they are absolutely IN LOVE with her!!!

Just call me Frankalicious. I am a 4 1/2 year old boxer and I have been on raw food all my life. I love my raw food. As the spokesdog for Hot Dogs All Dressed it is extremely important that I always look my best. I know that some of my other boxer friends have skin trouble and even “gassy” trouble, but not me! Even with my crooked perfectly white teeth, I can gobble the food down in seconds. I have the softest fur, like velvet, that the ladies love… And raw food allows me to keep my trim figure that makes all the other dogs jealous. Thanks Farah for giving me only the best and most delicious choices in my bowl. I look forward to mealtime even as it comes out of the freezer. The only time I get in trouble for drooling is when we are looking at the menu
for the next day…

Voici Olive – RawPaw du mois de novembre

Hello,

My name is Olive. I am 12,5 years old and I am here to talk about food.
I’ve had a healthy appetite all of my life. I consider myself resourceful and not at all a picky eater. I can find food wherever I go, even on the street.
My mom however doesn’t approve of those practices. She insists on feeding me only the very best and the healthiest of diets.
That’s why Farah comes to my house with her big blue box.
I give her a warm welcome and, unlike the pizza delivery man, she returns my affection!
The raw food I’ve been on for more than half of my life, helped put an and to the painful ear infections I used to suffer from.
My mom had been afraid to try the raw diet but changed her mind after consulting a highly regarded holistic vet.
When my canine friends come to visit, they run to my kitchen and stand in front of my fridge. They hope to taste some Tripe or other raw delicacies they don’t get at home.
I hope their families switch to raw one day…

Sincerement, Olive.

Voici Stella – RawPaw du mois d’octobre

Stella is a 2 1/2 yr old Rottweiler and one of my two dogs on RawPaw.
I have been feeding raw food to my dogs and cat for the past 10 years. I have tried many different sources of raw. When I started with Farah in Aug 2010 I was taken aback by the quality and freshness of her products. Until then my dogs could never eat chicken other than butcher bought. When I served RawPaw’s chicken my dogs ate it with gusto and never turned back. I was amazed and SOLD!!
The selection of RawPaw products along with the knowledge and service is hands down the best in town!!!
As the owner of Le Pet Spain Montreal I can honestly say that RawPaw is the way to go. Thanks Farah!Carla.

Voici Tiloup et Dante – RawPaws du mois de septembre

Loup-Loup is a 4 year old female. Dante is a 3 year old boy. They are both mixed breeds of unknown origin that we got from different pounds, one in Vermont, the other in Montreal. Though we were raw food believers right from the start, and used “commercially” available raw food products, the difference when we started on RawPaw was very noticeable. Even though we were supplementing with wild salmon oil and other supplements, when we made the switch there was a VERY noticeable difference in their coats – much softer, but also more shine. Their eyes too, just glow now. Best of all, Loup-Loup would get really finicky about her food, and would often choose not to eat. Since we’ve been serving her RawPaw, she’s super excited when dinner comes out, especially if there is Green Tripe involved. It’s also a really great feeling to see the consistent awesome quality of the food you deliver. I really feel like there is no better option for the dogs, and we’ve stopped supplementing them outside of the food we buy from you. They are happier, healthier, and shinier! Thanks so much Farah.

Chally & Aisha – RawPaws du mois de août

Chally and Aisha are 100% RawPaw fed. Raw food is the best choice for any dog’s health. Owning two pure Pit Bulls is not like owning anything else. As responsible dog owners we hope for long and happy lives for our dogs. Many people nowadays say that feeding raw meat to dogs will make them aggressive and uncontrollable, and owning Pits will add a whole other list of faults to feeding raw. Chally is an unfixed male, 1 1/2 years old. He has been on raw since he was 8 months and we have not been to the vet for anything other than annual vaccines since the change from Royal Canine. Aisha is an 11 month old unspayed female. She has been eating raw since 2 months old and has never been to the vet for anything other than vaccines. They are eating raw for a reason. The positives of eating raw
are stable energy, extremely sexy/attractive coat, less visits to your vet related to dieting habits or sickness, healthier life and much more. The negative for some people is having to defrost the meat before feeding, but for a small family like us it’s not considered a negative as we have just made it routine everyday to take out the correct amount. Make a difference to you and your dog’s life by feeding raw meat and vegetables. And if you like Farah’s products like we do then she will deliver them to your door. Thank you for you services Farah and see you next week.Tristan, Yahvel, Mathew, Chally, Aisha.

Guinness – RawPaw du mois de juillet

Guinness is a 4 year old Beagle. He started eating RawPaw in the fall of 2010. We have definitely seen a few changes in him since then. First is his coat. It is shinier and I think he sheds less. Second is his weight. He seems to be at a better weight now. Guinness has calmed down a lot since the change in his diet. He has good energy to go for runs but at home he is relaxed and calm. The only time he goes crazy with excitement is when he smells Farah coming up the front steps with her blue cooler!!! There is no stopping him then, except if she pulls out a treat…

Slate – RawPaw du mois de juin

Slate just turned 9 months old. He weighs 137 lbs. For the first 2 months that we had him he ate kibble for puppies… He had unbelievable gas and frequent diarrhea. Since we made the switch to RawPaw he has had no gas, no diarrhea and his coat shines. He barely expels any waste – it’s truly amazing. He is the healthiest dog his breeder has ever seen!!!

Zoey – RawPaw du mois de mai

The best decision ever for Zoey was when we switched her to RawPaw. Zoey is a sweet wonderful dog that only ate to survive. That all changed when we switched her to your raw food diet. Today, on raw food, she is looking forward to feeding time, every time, and licks the bowl clean. The dehydrated treats are a big hit with her and all of her neighborhood friends. She is prancing and licking her chops. Her coat is soft and shiny and she has wonderful muscle definition.Your knowledge and insight on all levels of Zoey’s health and diet has been of great help to us over the past year.

We would recommend RawPaw for all dogs considering a raw food diet.

Many thanks,

Brian, Laurie and Zoey.

Cruise, Caitlyn & Shadow – RawPaws du mois d’avril.

Dear Farah,As you know I have been feeding raw for several years. I started feeding raw when my first Sheltie, Puzzle, was 10 years old. He was always healthy but I was forever searching for a better diet as he was getting older and had lost his first companion and older female sheltie named Whitney. I came upon the raw diet through research, and the ladies in my dog agility club so I decided I would try it. The only problem was it was very expensive and there were no suppliers here in Montreal. So I got deliveries from Vancouver and then Ontario, but that was not really reliable. So I was thrilled to find RawPaw and the wonderful and fresh selection of products and very personalized service with a smile. I have fed my 2 shelties and 1 Yorkie raw for the past 7 years and they are really thriving. Their teeth are clean and their energy is high and their coats are rich and shiny. They really do thrive on raw. So here is the best endorsement of your product that I can give – a picture of my three fur-kids and grateful clients of RawPaw. Cruise is the big sheltie and 11 years old, Caitlyn is the small female and is 7 years old and the little Yorkie Shadow is 11 years old.

A loyal and grateful customer,

MaryAnn

L’histore de Rider – RawPaw du mois de mars

I started feeding Rider raw food when he was 12 years old. I was very nervous as he was on a low fat diet due to a severe case of pancreatitis. However, when he stopped eating the food that I was getting from my vet, I knew I had to do something. It was only a matter of a couple of weeks when I started to notice significant changes in him. His eyes lost the cloudy look, his teeth started to lose the plaque, and his energy level was increasing. He used to see the doggy chiropractor monthly, now he goes every 3 months for a routine check-up. His mid-section is no longer tight from being bloated and uncomfortable. This means no tightness in the back muscles to make him go out of alignment. His eyes are bright, his teeth plaque free, and he runs with all the big dogs with careless abandon. I firmly believe that feeding raw not only changed his life, but has extended it!Thanks Farah for all the wonderful things you provide and do!
